About Andrea and Naphtali

Andrea attended the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis in 2001. Andrea then started her career at Denny Kemp Salon and Spa also in Minneapolis doing both cut and color for six years. Next she moved to Des Moines and worked at Rick Mosley Hair where she specialized in hair cutting and styling. Andrea has a passion for the hair industry and continues her education every chance she gets. She also works hard to provide her clients with the best service possible as well as the best hair!

My goal is to be the most educated colorist I can be and to share that inspiration with others. I have worked in the hair industry since 2000. I worked at Rick Mosley Hair from 2003 to 2015. As Director of the Hair Color Department, I trained the color team and specialized in hair color and extension services. I am certified in five hair extension application methods. I currently use Hairdreams extensions and Cinderella Hair. I run my own business at DeLiRe Salon in Johnston, Iowa, where I continue to strive to serve my guests with the most knowledge and skill to create the best look possible.

5. One word: OLAPLEX!

Naphtali’s opinion on Olaplex:

For me, the most exciting thing is that I can color hair without damaging it with Olaplex! That is really the coolest thing I’ve heard in my entire career! You can do a lot more and push the hair much farther than I’ve ever been able to without worrying about its integrity.

You can also repair damaged hair, which has never really been possible before either. Most products basically put a band-aid on the hair by filling it full of silicone. That fills the porosity and smooths the cuticle, making it feel healthier, but it’s not really. Those things will, of course, wash away in 5-15 washes. Olaplex actually looks for the broken sulfide bonds in the hair and links them back together. They have a patent on the technology, so no other product out there can do this.

I could go on about this product FOREVER — it really has changed the way I do my job. Olaplex makes your hair feel amazing, style easier, dry faster, and makes it very shiny.

My Experience

I don’t take much time for myself, so getting to experience first hand how amazing Naphtali and Andrea are was such a treat! I felt pampered, relaxed, and beautiful. They asked questions about my lifestle, makeup, clothing, etc! I love the result! The color and Olaplex treatment were seriously amazing. My hair hasn’t felt this healthy in a long time! I love the lighter color for summer! I can’t say enough about the cut as well! Andrea added a few more layers than I typically do and I LOVE it! I wanted to keep the length but do something different. Naphtali and Andrea both did a wonderful job and I couldn’t be happier with the end result.
