Where’d You Get That? (Walmart Edition)

Walmart is Target’s less attractive cousin (hate to break it to you, Arkansas). So you may be surprised to know there are some cute little gems hidden in the pink camouflage and apple-print kitchen rugs of Walmart’s home section.

Look what I found on a recent lunch break perusal of Walmart. They are giving Target a run for their money — and it’s mostly thanks to a newish home line by Des Moines’s own Better Homes and Gardens magazine.

Just look at these adorable throw pillows.

You can find them here, here and here. I love the color and texture of the first two (paired together on your sofa?!), and the brightly colored “I Love You” would be perfect for a play room or kid’s bedroom.

Next up, we’re staging your shelves or gallery wall with this cute clock and these adorable (really cheap!) frames.

I bought two of these for our bathroom. With the white mat already there, they’re an already-assembled, crisp way to display any art or picture.

Do you want to tuck that tag underneath as much as I do?

And the RUGS.

They had me using all the heart eyes emojis. Especially the blue and jute diamond in the top photo — it is a runner and I’ll be needing it for our entryway. You can find those three here, here, and here. The striped rug on the bottom would be great for a play room or a bright accent in any room in your house. It’s World Market-esque and is a whopping 3.5 x 5 for less than $20!

I found some other cute steals.

Like these adorable sheets — perfect for your daughter’s new big girl bed. I couldn’t find the floral print online, but here is a link to a similar set.

They had some other cute sheets, and I found adorable printed kitchen towels for $.75! Less than a Diet Coke, people!

Where do you find unexpected treasures for your house?

P.S. We all love Katie’s shopping trips to Target! Check them out.

P.S.S. This post was inspired by the Instagram account @whoawaitwalmart. If you’re not into looking beyond the camouflage, these ladies will do the hard work for you. Someone else also does a Target version called @targetdoesitagain.
