SkinGym is the first dermatology office to offer evening and weekend care in Des Moines. No other dermatologists in our area provide patients with weekend care – a much needed offering. SkinGym is committed to providing convenience and one-on-one attention to each patient.
It is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with additional dermatology appointments available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Doctors used to make home visits and spent real time getting to know their patients. Now the norm is five minutes with the doctor and an hour sitting in a reception room.
SkinGym is different. They are dedicated to spending real time with their patients to better understand their needs. It’s their way of getting back to the way medicine used to be practiced and providing quality care.

About Dr. Forsha
In 2015, Dr. Forsha joined SkinGym and expanded the existing spa into a full-service dermatology clinic. With the aid of Dr. Forsha, Skingym Dermatology and Medspa launched April 2016. Dr. Forsha treats acne, warts, eczema, psoriasis rashes, various types of skin cancers, and mole removals. Additionally Dr. Forsha has an interest in cosmetic areas of dermatology and has extensive training in injection of Botox and other fillers as well as advanced laser treatments.
Dr. Forsha believes in a thorough approach when working with his patients and has built SkinGym Dermatology and Medspa to revolve around the convenience of our patients’ schedules. To accommodate this, SkinGym is proud to be the first dermatology clinic in the area to offer extended hours for evening and weekend dermatology appointments.
Originally from Omaha, Dr. Forsha is excited to be back in the Midwest after spending almost twenty years building the dermatology practice at South Valley Dermatology in West Jordan, Utah. He is a father of two children and recently became a grandfather for the first time.
