Des Moines Moms Blog is excited to present this free and unique farm to table event, Ladies Night Out – Dinner on the Farm with Iowa CommonGround! Take the night off from cooking supper, gather your gal pals, and join the women from Iowa CommonGround for a delicious meal and conversations about Iowa women farmers!
The location
The dinner will take place on the Kellie and AJ Blair’s farm in Dayton, IA at 3531 Paragon Ave (about 60 miles north of Des Moines). Kellie and her husband AJ are corn, soybean, cattle and pig farmers. As she shares on her blog, Home Again Finnegan, Kellie is a proud conservationist, agronomist, and mom of two kids. Kellie is passionate about telling the story of agriculture and is open to every opportunity to answer questions about food and family.
The evening

6:15 PM – Dinner and (optional) tour of the Blair’s farm with dessert to follow
Dinner will be catered by Hy-Vee and will consist of pork loin, potatoes, salad, a vegetable side and cupcakes for dessert.
