About the Just For Her Event
“Shop. Pamper. Treat.”
The event focuses on everything women love under one roof for a fun 3-day weekend to treat themselves to time out with friends, shopping from around the midwest, spa treatments and more.
This event was started in 2009 in Kansas City by 2 moms and has grown to be the largest women’s event in the area with almost 300 vendors. They brought the show to the Des Moines market in 2013 hoping to create an exceptional event experience women will look forward to visiting in the years to come. This year’s event is bigger and better!

Highlights for 2014

Schedule Highlights
Friday, May 2nd
Grab the girls and head out for drinks from Just For Her Bar Sponsor, Skinnygirl from 5-10pm! The event is also open Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. Tickets are valid for all 3 days and only $5 online or at the door. We look forward to seeing you this year!
The Iowa Clinic will be giving a Botox demonstration at 6pm.
The Des Moines Social Club will have classes performing on the show stage the Friday and Saturday of the event. Women can learn about belly dancing, burlesque, circus performing, yoga, and a new dance exercise class, Dance Trance. These are just a few classes which will be offered through the Des Moines Social Club. This will be a ton of fun and hopefully encourage us all to step outside of our comfort zone and try something new!
Saturday, May 3rd
The ARL will be holding pet adoptions on Saturday, May 3rd from 10am-5pm at an event special rate of $25.00. There will be a vet on hand to answer questions.
True Style Boutique and Christopher’s Fine Jewelry are doing a fashion show beginning at 2:30 pm.
Sunday, May 4th
Studio 7 Salon and Spa will be holding a Cuts For A Cause fundraiser on the show stage on Sunday, May 4th from 11:00am-4:00pm. Hairstylist will perform a range of hair services for a minimum $5.00 donation. All proceeds benefit the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
