What is JBF?
JBF is a children’s and maternity consignment event happening once in the spring and once in the fall. There are 140 sales all around the country run by moms just like us who have a desire to get great bargains, bring money back into their homes, recycle their children’s items and help their community. And, the bonus, its sooooo easy!
Here’s how it works (Easy Peasy!):
- You tag your items using our easy, online tagging system. You even set your own prices and write your own descriptions. JBF gives a listing of recommended price points, but you can price your items and describe them however you like.
- You drop your items at the event and we take it from there. We inspect for recalls, stains, missing parts and anything else that would keep items from being a great find for our shoppers.
- You shop! Really, this is the fun part! You will save 50-90% on clothing, shoes, toys, educational games, bikes, outdoor toys, books and more!
- At the end of the sale, you can pick-up your unsold items or we can donate them for you and give you a tax deduction slip.
- You get paid!

3 Fun Facts about JBF
- Our average consignor for our spring sale earned over $300.
- Our checks are usually mailed within 3-5 days of the sale ending.
- Our average unsold item pickup time is less than 5 minutes. Our rigorous sorting process after the sale sorts things down to consignor number. This saves YOU time!
Our Community Involvement
We partner with Hope Ministries who receive our donated items after the sale for those who wish to do so. This is a fabulous opportunity for moms to give back to their local charity and it saves them a trip back to the sale. Moms can view their sold items online and decide if a trip back to pick up unsold/remaining items is worth their time or they can skip pickup and we will make the donation to Hope for them and send them a tax receipt.
Whether you need to raise money for your child’s 3rd grade classroom, scout troop, youth group, or baseball team, JBF can help! It’s such an easy way for parents to hold a fundraiser! It is as simple as passing out cards with your organization’s name written on it. When the card makes its way back to the sale (ie-The receiver comes and shops), JBF gives a percentage of the sale back to that organization. It’s a win-win for all!

“Let me start off by saying I absolutely love JBF! I think it is a must-have event for all moms-to-be. I, like most first time mothers, was so overwhelmed by all of the baby gear as well as the prices. When I was at Babies R Us, I was looking at a $120 swing, $100 activity center, $350 stroller car seat combo, $350 rocking chair, and much more. -I had no idea how we could afford to buy everything top of the line brand new. Then, I found JBF. I was about 4 months pregnant when I went to my first JBF sale, and I went crazy! I was able to buy a barely used Fisher Price swing, a baby Einstein activity center, rocking chair, and tons of clothes for under $5 each. Bottom line: JBF makes sense financially. They have baby gear, toys, furniture, clothes, books, and anything else you could need for baby on up.
