Home Tour: Fall Decorating

0

Fall is F I N A L L Y here!! And all the fall-lovin’ mamas said “Amen!” There are many quotes that perfectly sum up my adoration for all things fall, but this one is by far my favorite:

I’m so glad I live in a world where there are October’s – Anne of Green Gables

Me too, Anne, me too!

To the perfect weather, open windows, all things pumpkin, and beautiful changing leaves, some may say it’s the perfect time of year.

I thought I’d share a glimpse into my home and my fall decorating. As soon as October hits, it is all things fall at our house. I don’t go all out, but simple touches here and a candle here, makes all the difference. So, sit back, sip on your pumpkin spice latte, and welcome to our home!

Putting out a few pumpkins or even gourds on your front porch makes a big impact! We added a mum and called it good. I picked up the doormat at Target. The color is great for fall. Instant fall inspiration!

I added a pumpkin to a table by our stairs that I found at the Target One Spot last year. Again, super simple but the perfect touch of fall!

I found this cute pumpkin at the Target One Spot this year, and I just adore the color! I have this Gather sign and placed it next to it.

For the dining room, I added these cute fabric pumpkins I found at Target in a bowl on the dining room table. In the summer, it’s filled with lemons. It was an easy switch and again, super simple!

This wall hanging is always in the dining room, but I especially love it during the fall months!

Next, is the kitchen. I don’t add a lot of fall decorating here, but this spot by the sink gets changed throughout the seasons. For fall, I added this yummy pumpkin-vanilla scented candle and fall flowers. Flowers can instantly change a space, so adding fall colored flowers is the perfect touch! The little ramekin dishes were from, you guessed it: Target. I found them last year.

For the family room, I simply added a banner, a few pumpkins, and a fuzzy throw in front of the fireplace and called it good.

In our entry way off the garage into the kitchen/family room, I changed up our letter board and added a candle and pumpkin. Instant fall perfection!

Those are some of the very simple but festive ways we decorate for fall. I hope you enjoyed!
