We can’t wait for our Costco Mom Hour this Friday, November 4th at 9 a.m.! Costco has agreed to open an hour early for Des Moines Moms Blog readers and their families. Here is everything you can expect!
- Costco Mom Hour will take place locally in West Des Moines (as well as in over 98 other warehouses throughout the US)
- The event begins at 9 a.m. (CST) – a full hour before Costco opens to the public!
- You do NOT need to print off your ticket – but we do ask you to register so we can plan accordingly for food and so you can qualify for the special membership offer!
- The first 100 people (adults) to arrive at each location will receive a swag bag – you can expect to receive Kirkland Signature items such as: nuts, trail mix, fruit snacks, microwave popcorn, applesauce pouch, granola bars, juice boxes, and chocolate milk. (The variety of items will vary by location).
- Continental breakfast will be available (at no cost) with items including: coffee, juice, bakery items, breakfast bars, etc.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt for a chance to win one of the two $100 gift cards being given away!
- There will be samples chosen specifically for moms and kids!
- Here are the details on the membership special that will be available after you register through EventBrite (see below to register – pick our local West Des Moines location). The offer includes:
- $20 cash card for Gold Star signups
- $43 worth of coupons (free pizza, $3 off any fresh berry item and $5 off Costco Photo Book, and $25 off of $250 on Costco.com.)
- $20 Cash Card offered for Executive upgrade at membership counter
- If you are a current Costco member and bring a friend to the event who becomes a new member, you will be eligible for a $10 Costco Cash Card! This is only available on the day of the event.
- You do NOT have to be a member to attend and enjoy the event, but if you plan to make purchases you will need a membership.

- Kids are allowed, and dads are, of course, welcome, too!
- We are aware that 9 a.m. is not ideal for everybody – but we do our best to schedule our events at various times. If this event doesn’t work for you, we hope the next one will!
