BMW’s Ultimate Race to Give

This month we’re focusing on The Ultimate Race to Give – This is our chance to give back to multiple organizations but also to specific individuals such as our selected athletes.

The Ultimate Race to Give – Powered by BMW of Des Moines and Zoom Performance is a chance for athletes to help better the community and take their athletic ability to the next level. The selected athletes will each be raising money for a local charity of their choice (minimum $1,000) while training for the 2015 Des Moines Triathlon on Labor Day Weekend. BMW of Des Moines and Zoom Performance will be there every step of the way providing fundraising assistance along with triathlete training.

Each week, we will be spotlighting individual athletes through social media to create awareness for their selected local charity and to track their training progress. It is truly a win-win for everyone involved but truly the goal is to make a huge difference in the local community.

As the Official Automobile Sponsor of the 2015 Des Moines Triathlon, it only seemed fitting to further incorporate ourselves into the sport of triathlon and into the local community that we love.

About BMW Des Moines

BMW des moines craig family

BMW of Des Moines is operated by local Father, Craig Tjeerdsma. Craig and his team stand behind their Mission and encourage you to Experience the Difference at BMW Des Moines.

They are in the process of building a new facility, and for the first time in years, BMW will be operating alone as a stand-alone brand! Their new, modern facility is coming Summer ’15 and the plans are remarkable.

Tjeerdsma shares, “We will be spending the first half of 2015 rallying around our Mission and developing our unique identity in the auto industry in Des Moines as a place that truly is different. Many places claim to be different, but few actually can put their finger on how they are different. We will make 100% sure our guests can see and feel how we are different.”
