All I Want for Christmas…

Here’s what my sweet Hallie really wants for Christmas! 🙂

Here’s my 2014 Christmas gift guide/wish list!

Some of these items I already own but I love so much that I added them to this list just for you!   Maybe some of you last-minute shoppers will get inspired for your last few gifts to buy! Or maybe some of you who ask for gift cards or money can go shopping after Christmas!

First on my list is a new pair of riding boots!

I am really loving booties these days but I think a good pair of riding boots is a closet essential, especially since we live in Iowa and see frigid temps more than we like to admit. Booties just won’t cut it on the below zero days. I had been eyeing a pair of Frye boots for a while, but after trying them on I couldn’t see and feel the $200+ difference to other leather boots I have tried on. With that said, I fell in love with this Penny Riding boot in Whiskey by Sam Edelman! The absolute best part of this boot is it comes in a WIDE CALF (Penny 2) option. So, if you have athletic calves or consider yourself a curvy girl, this option is perfect for you! I love the classic look to this boot, too!  I think it will be a favorite in my closet for years to come!

I can’t stop there with the boots. I have two other favorites to add to my list: Hunter boots and UGG boots!

I am a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE fan of Hunter boots! They are super cute and incredibly comfortable! AND, if you wear them with a boot sock they are perfect for an Iowa winter! And yes, I own one pair, but HEY!! There is nothing wrong with two pairs of these little gems! Check out the Huntress boots for anyone out there who would like a wide calf option! Or, if you have medium calves, this is a great option if you are wanting to wear them with boot socks! I love the black and hunter green and these for something fun!

Okay, I know half the population owns these, but I don’t yet. Mostly because (dare I say it) I feel sloppy in them (or in the knock-offs I do own)! But UGG boots made my list this year. They are wildly comfortable and warm—two essentials for tromping through snow and braving the cold. They are the flip-flop of winter and I am a huge flip-flopper in the summer… so I say why not?!

I love wearing a watch.

It is an easy way to add an accessory to an outfit! I love Fossil for watches. They offer good quality and are not as expensive as some of the designer watches with jaw-dropping prices. I own a similar one to this. I love it because it goes with anything. But I added this one because I need something that I can dress up a bit! Although, this is perfect for a casual outfit, too!

I have heard so many good things about Lululemon, so I added these Wunder Under Roll Down Yoga Pants to my Christmas list!

Reasons to buy according to my girlfriends:

  1. They are slimming.
  2. They don’t loose their shape.
  3. They wash well.
  4. They last longer.

They better do all of the above for $100, because that is a flipping’ expensive pair of workout pants!

Statement necklaces! I love them!

I think they add a fun pop to an otherwise boring necklace. And the good news is you don’t have to splurge! Here are a few I love  from Target: this, this, and this. Here are a few from JCrew Factory that are fun: this, this, and this. All at a great price! Here I am, from my last post, sporting a statement necklace. Thank you, Target!

Younique 3D Fiber Lash Mascara.

Yes… this product may be filling up your news feed, but it’s for good reason! It really does work! Here is a goofy picture of me sporting all Younique products! I love them all BUT my favorite is the Fiber Lash! I love it and use it daily!

All I Want for Christmas...

Bekah (one of our DMMB founders) is a Younique representative! So, if you are looking for someone to buy through, she is your gal! Here is the link to her site: www.youniqueproducts.com/RebekahRiker. Or email her at [email protected].

I would definitely put a Nordstrom Rack gift card on my Christmas list!

I have found so many cute items there! It can be a little pricier BUT it’s definitely a great place to find good deals on quality brands! I especially love shopping their shoe rack!

Another gift that is never boring is $$$$$!

I love to go shopping after Christmas because it seems like everything goes on sale! I love a good sale! It is nice to have a chunk of money to spend on yourself and not feel guilty! So, if you are giving the gift of money this year, don’t feel bad—people really do like getting $$!

I hope your Christmas is filled with joy, love, and laughter! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I can’t wait to connect in 2015!
