Here are 5 reasons you should join us for mom’s night out!
1. New location
If you’ve been to any of our previous Mom’s Night Out events at Jasper Winery, you know we have a lot of fun, but not a lot of space. We are so excited to be at Bash Events and Catering in downtown Des Moines at 1312 Locust Street this year. There will be more seating and more room to mingle.
2. Yummy food, desserts, and drinks
Your ticket includes 1 drink ticket and food (that you don’t have to cook or clean up after). We will have salad and sandwiches from McAlister’s Deli and tacos from Fuzzy’s Taco Shop.
Don’t forget dessert! There will be cupcakes from Molly’s Cupcakes and Scratch Cupcakery, cookies from One Sweet Kitchen, and sweet treats from Nothing Bundt Cakes. There will also be gluten-free options.
3. Skipping bedtime
Raise your hand if your kids go crazy between the hours of 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. (or whenever they go to bed). Let your hubby (or a babysitter) be in charge for the night while you enjoy a much-deserved night off!
4. An excuse to dress up
I’m all about rocking my yoga pants and mom bun, but sometimes it’s fun to have a reason to dress up! Here’s your chance to put on a cute shirt, wear your favorite jewelry, and feel pretty. This isn’t a fancy event–jeans and a t-shirt are perfectly acceptable—but if you want to be a little fancy, go for it!
