Have you ever shopped at Tuesday Morning? Have you even heard of it? It’s located in Clive at 2900 University (in the same strip mall as Pier 1 and Babies R Us) or in Ankeny at 1802 SE Delaware (close to TJ Maxx). This series started a couple months ago with a lunch break shopping trip to Walmart. This time, it all happened at Tuesday Morning–oddly enough, on a late Tuesday morning.
Should we just rename the post “Where’d You Get That Throw Pillow?” Check these out! The owl print ($12.99) is adorable! The orange and ivory print and the blue and yellow floral (looks Orla Kielyish to me) are $12.99. The yellow is the most expensive, $14.99.
Heading over to wall decor. Aren’t these pieces cute? My favorites are the mirror and the owl and octopus prints (they had other, cuter mirrors, but I had already taken this picture–oh, efficiencies!). (Mirror: $24.99; Life is Now: $6.99; Owl: $14.99; Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful: $12.99; Octopus: $24.99)
Our ottoman has seen better days. There was a small hole in the upholstered pleather, and now there’s a huge hole that Gwen uses for leverage when she’s climbing onto the couch. Check out these poufs! The black and white patterned pouf is $49.99 and the blue/gray on the right is $29.99. They look solid, like they might withstand a toddler’s touch.
RUGS. Rugs, guys. RUGS. I reealllyyy have a special place in my heart for rugs. They had a large selection. They were hanging draped over the hanger, so it was hard to see their sizes. The striped rug had a great texture–it’s $99.99 (at least a 5×7, maybe bigger). The patterned rug was a low pile, soft to the touch, and $129.99 (it was big, too, at least a 5×7). And this seafoam green rug, 3.5 x 5.5 and $34.99!
Tuesday Morning has a variety of home supplies–toys and baby items, pet supplies, gift wrap out your ears, baskets and office supplies, kitchen accessories for all you domestic godesses, decorative paper plates (aka the fine china of the busy mom (right, Amy VW? ;)). This cute berry-basket dish was ah-dorable–$4.99. And these rugby stripe towels with the fringe–$7.99, really soft, and easy on the eyes.
One thing that’s not so cute: Tuesday Morning doesn’t have online shopping–you just have to check it out in person! 2900 University Ave, Clive or 1802 SE Delaware, Ankeny.
Ummm.. how have I never heard of this place before? I must go!!
Every time I have been over in that area and think about stopping, they are closed. Ugh. Cool stuff though!
