Friday January 15
- Drake Womens Basketball– 7pm Knapp Center
- Friday Funday at the Des Moines Playhouse– The Snow Queen:
- 9:30 AM, 10:45 AM, and 1:30 PM.
- Tickets are $6 all ages. Groups of 15+ are $5 per ticket.
- Each audience member must occupy a seat and have a ticket. Individual children (those not with a class or group) must be accompanied by an adult.
- Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Tickets may be reserved in advance for all shows.
- Friday Funday is reserved seating. You can choose your seats online.
- Free Friday Movie at Northside Library– 330pm. You may bring snacks and drinks with a lid. There will be free popcorn while it lasts.
Saturday January 16
- Iowa Wild Hockey– 7pm Wells Fargo Arena
- Waukee Family Fest 2016- Lutheran Church of Hope – Waukee 9am-noon
- Snowshoe Stomp– Put on your cold weather gear and join the snowshoe stomp in Greenwood Park Saturday morning January 16th, 2016 from 10am to noon. You will meet at the enclosed Jay Spence Shelter for gear and instructions then head outside to enjoy the snow. If you have never been on snowshoes but you are interested to give it a try, this is the program for you. All ages are welcome. Anyone under 12 years old will need to have a guardian present. Register for the event at www.dmgov.org. Fee is $5 and covers snowshoes and hot chocolate. If there is no snow the event will be cancelled
- Urbandale Indoor Pool Customer Appreciation Day- To celebrate the Urbandale Indoor Public Pool’s 40th year in 2016, ALL general admissions will be only 40 cents on January 16
Sunday January 17
