There’s a still, small voice that whispers in my head. I can’t always hear it, but I know it’s there.
It encourages. You can do this.
It uplifts. You’re doing a great job.
It reminds me that I am strong. Don’t give up.
It inspires. You’re going to be okay.
It loves. You are more than enough.
It gives. You have all that you need.
It perseveres. You can do all things through God who gives you strength.
It surrounds me. You are not alone.
When I don’t listen to the voice, when I push it aside and let self-doubt sink in, that is when I feel like I am sinking as a mom. But when I listen to the mom voice within, the truth that speaks to my heart, I know that even in my weakest moments, I am still strong.
I am strong because I try.
I try because I love.
I love because I am loved.
I am loved and surrounded by a wonderful family, great friends, and a God who has blessed me.
The mom voice within me reminds me of these truths.
Listen to these truths within you. Trust your heart. Believe in yourself.
The mom voice within you reminds you of who you are. The beauty, grace, and strength you have.
