Pickle Peas Review & Giveaway

3

My first born rarely drooled as an infant. Then, my second son came along and I felt like I was visiting Niagra Falls daily. Some days I wonder how my nine month old stays hydrated. On any given day, I may change his shirt or bib three to four times just to keep him dry.

Given my son’s excessive drooling, I was beyond excited to try a stylish new solution for drooling created by Pickle Peas.

Pickle Peas offers an organic clothing and bib line designed especially for drooly little ones (a.k.a. “Dribble Duds for Little Hipsters”).

Pickle Peas features waterproof bibs that snap on and off of different clothing separates (rompers, shirts, onesies). When one bib gets wet, simply remove it and snap on a new one. You don’t have to change the whole outfit! It’s a snap (litterally!)!

I loved trying out Pickle Peas clothing and bibs! I loved the fabric, style and function of Pickle Peas!

Fabric

I could not get enough of the buttery soft fabric. I definitely spent some extra cuddle time with my son while he was wearing these super soft duds. Plus, I like the reassurance that the fabric is 100% organic cotton!!

Style

Pickle Peas offers the functionality of a traditional bib, but with way more style! Be gone frumpy looking bibs! Each bib features a hip and modern applique. Pickle Peas bibs are fashionable and define the outfit.  In fact, my son didn’t even look like he was wearing a bib at all! Traditional bibs serve a purpose, but sometimes I want my son to look nice and not like he is wearing a giant bib over his otherwise cute outfit. Pickle Peas solves this problem by incorporating the bib into the outfit, creating a seamless and stylish ensemble. “What Mama doesn’t want the most stylish (and dry) kid on the block???”

Function

Besides displaying a unique fashion statement, Pickle Peas clothing and bibs are extremely functional. The bibs are one size, so they will continue to fit growing babies. Also, all the pieces display a similar color palate making it easy to coordinate a number of fun and different looks. Best of all, when one bib gets wet, just snap it off and replace it with a new one.

The snaps make it so easy for quick on the go changes. Unsnapping the bibs was way more convenient for me than changing an entire outfit. Finally, I appreciate that Pickle Peas bibs don’t drag on the ground as baby moves. Since traditional bibs hang down as baby crawls, drool and/or spit up is usually smeared along baby’s crawling path. With Pickle Peas, the bib is attached to the shirt, which means no more smeared messes as baby crawls!

Are you like me? Do you have a baby who is constantly soaking bibs or shirts? Or maybe your baby is a big drooler when teething. Pickle Peas can help, while keeping baby stylish at the same time!

  1. Oh my, my son drools and drools and drools and we have yet to see any teeth.  My little guy so needs a Pickle Pea outfit and bib set.  He could probably use a different one for each day!

  2. My kids thankfully haven’t been big droolers but this would be awesome even if their shirts got dirty with food. Thanks for sharing!
