Holiday Wear brought to you from the Target dressing room!

2

My sister, Sara, and I took a little rendezvous amidst the Target holiday madness over the weekend to shop for some new apparel for all the gatherings this season brings! I don’t know about you, but I have 20 (exaggerating) different Christmas parties or get-togethers to attend, so I need some affordable options to keep me feeling cute and classy. AND seriously, without fail, Target does it again! Somehow they keep almost every item in the $15 – $30 range, which makes me (a budget-conscious-shopping-lover) very happy!

So, here’s what we came up with. (I am going to link as many of the items as possible. Some items are sold only in-store.)

This first outfit is classic and casual. Pair dark high-waist jeans (similar) with an adorable, festive green top. Add a fun bib necklace (similar) and nude booties and you are ready to go! This would be great for a casual holiday party or event!

This outfit speaks to my heart because while it felt like comfy p.j.’s, it still maintained a cuteness factor… right up my alley! The top is by Exhilaration (P.S. I sized up to a Medium – I like a little room in sweaters), and the leggings (similar and similar – these were right next to the pictured pair at my Target) are nice and thick without adding 10 lbs to your legs (DOUBLE PLUS! LOL!). This super cute necklace is sure to go with multiple outfits you already own! AND, who doesn’t need these super cute booties? (Black are currently sold out online.)

We are stepping right out of my comfort zone and jumping right in to New Year’s Eve in this Faux leather dress! This is fun and sassy, and truthfully, it had me feeling a little Kim K and J-Lo… which is a rare, rare thing! 😉 We didn’t accessorize it too much for fear of abusing the fitting room lady, but I think it would be cute with this bracelet and these earrings! I forgot to put on the shoes you can see in the mirror. 😉

Okay, let’s head back over the river and through the woods to Grandmother’s house we go…. I was feeling nice and festive in this emerald green sweater and black legging jeans! We paired this combo with the black booties (sister said the all black seemed to lengthen my short, stubby legs…. I’ll take it!) again and this super cute necklace (similar)!

Oh holy night the stars are brightly shining!! (Love that Christmas song.) We are now getting all fancy for Christmas Eve church service in this cute off-white frock (P.S. It was full price in the store.) Loved this chain-link necklace with this dress. And NO, I probably wouldn’t wear black shoes with this dress… again, avoiding the possible kick-out from the fitting room attendant!

Another dress here suitable for Christmas Eve services or a dressier work party. Classic and comfy for a newly popping baby bump (yes, Sara will have one of those soon!) AND again, we kind of loved these booties… can you tell?

I always love a blazer! (I also liked this one!) It makes me feel put-together and classy. We chose this blazer because the plaid and pop of red made it feel fun and festive! We paired it with the high-waist jeans and gold chain necklace from earlier! The pumps weren’t a perfect match, but I definitely like the look of pumps with this outfit!

Lastly, I leave you with one more casual look! These jeans were a little out of the ordinary for me, but I actually liked them and found them comfortable! The cream top (similar) is a good staple, as it goes with anything and makes a great layering piece, too! I loved adding the bib necklace because it ties the look together!

HAPPY SHOPPING TO YOU ALL!!! AND A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!
