Fall Play Date
Wednesday, October 16th
Come meet other moms and their kiddos and have a day filled with pumpkin patch fun at Center Grove Orchard. Spend a few hours or spend the whole day! The DMMB team will be there from 9 a.m. – noon, and we can’t wait to meet you. Bring your whole family or just yourselves and enjoy a morning filled with farmyard fun!
From 9:00 – 9:20 a.m. we will meet in front of The Learning Barn and check you in with the DMMB group to ensure you all get the special DMMB rate and to get you entered into our AWESOME giveaway donated by Center Grove, valued at over $25.00!! You are welcome to explore at your family’s own pace and can stay as long as you like!
Admission:
As part of the DMMB group we are receiving a special group rate of $6.95 per person ages 3 and up (2 and under are free).
Lunch/Snacks:
The Grove offers a variety of food and beverages on site. In addition to their famous bakery and general store, The Hay Café and The Coffee Shop offer tasty lunches and snacks. If you wish to bring your own lunch and snacks, outside food is permitted. Feel free to relax on one of the many picnic tables on site.
Activities:
Center Grove offers plenty of activities for all ages: from hayrides to a huge corn pool, farm animals to a jumping pillow, and just added this year, a huge slide that kiddos and adults of all ages will enjoy! Not to mention the chance to pick your own pumpkin!
Directions:
Center Grove is located just north of Ankeny and south of Ames, 5 miles east of I-35 on Highway 210 (exit 102, Cambridge), then north 1/8 mile on 610th Avenue.
