Angela’s Thoughts

I parked my minivan in front of the store, and my pulse quickened as my eyes scanned the window displays. The Funky Zebras had me sold before I’d even stepped foot in the door.

Hardly able to contain myself, I hurried inside and gasped at the scene before me. Every on-point display beckoned me near to touch, try, buy. The colors, the styles, the fabrics, all spoke to me with that quiet excitement that fall is here and with it… new clothes!

I seriously love shopping at The Funky Zebras. I always know I can walk in and find clothing that is on trend, made well, and priced right. And… the gals who work there aren’t annoying (haha!). They always provide just the right amount of assistance, and their fashion expertise is a welcome bonus. The thing I struggle with most in putting together an outfit is choosing the accessories, but these gals help me get it right every time.

I feel confident in saying that whether you’re a fashion diva or a mom without a clue, The Funky Zebras is the boutique for you!

Kara’s Thoughts

Funky Zebras has a great boutique selection that you don’t see elsewhere in Des Moines. My style tends to be a little bit more on the conservative side, but they definitely have something for everyone. There were several items I would have gladly taken home!

Funky Zebras has great pieces to take women into fall in Central Iowa. There were great options for layering that were trendy and fun. People can look stylish at a great price.

Funky Zebras has a great atmosphere and options. Even though my typical clothing is more conservative and basic, I found that the clothes stretched my comfort zone without making me feel uncomfortable. The sales associates were helpful and gave me some great options and feedback. Before Des Moines Moms Blog, I had never shopped at The Funky Zebras before, but I will definitely be back!

Sarah’s Thoughts

I love that Funky Zebras has a huge selection of unique items you won’t find in other stores, but what I love the most about Funky Zebras is their staff and how helpful they are! They are great at helping you find things that work for you! They are so helpful not only with what you might be looking for but also with things that will look great on you. They help put together a total outfit that includes top, bottom, and accessories and have ideas for other ways you can utilize the pieces!

I loved all the fall looks — the colors, fabrics, and textures as well as items that are on trend. Whether you’re looking for something casual, dressy, or kids clothes, they have it all!

The inventory at the store changes weekly! You always find new things. The displays are attractive, and often things that coordinate are placed together; the store is easy to shop. Styles are on trend for any age, whether 6 or 60, and they have a huge selection of accessories and scarves.

Bekah’s Thoughts

All my experiences at The Funky Zebras have been wonderful. The helpful staff, wonderful selection, on trend clothing, and their multiple locations are my biggest reasons for shopping! What’s not to love? I love that their little girls section is expanding as well so I can always find great stuff for my girls. I can’t say enough about the jewelry selection at The Funky Zebras — it is the best!

Going in the other night to all the fall clothing got me so excited for camp fires, cooler weather, hot cocoa, and football games! There’s just something about a great sweater and boots. Do not leave without the famous tank tops that fit everyone, go under everything, and come in every color! They are amazing.

Think gift giving season when you think of The Funky Zebras. There is something for everyone no matter their age. A beautiful scarf, a one of a kind necklace, shoes, hats, and so much more!

Autumn’s Thoughts

I was overwhelmed at first, but quickly my fears calmed thanks to the helpfulness of the staff at The Funky Zebras. They helped me navigate styles and gave me unexpected colors. I loved all the fall layering options.

I had never considered a scarf AND necklace. I loved that they had “mom on the go,” “chic working mama,” and “date night” fall options. The Funky Zebras’ unique yet staple (could wear weekly) pieces are the reason to shop!

If you think about price per wear, everything is a steal!

Rachel’s Thoughts

I was very pleased with the options they had for a very pregnant lady. They were able to find several styles to accommodate my bump that will look good after baby, too.

I loved that they styled me! I tried on things I would have never put together and even ended up purchasing an item that I would have not picked myself. But I love it! I love the colors and the layers available.

People should shop at The Funky Zebras because the styles are unique and the girls who work there are fun and eager to help you define your style and to help you shop. And the prices actually surprised me! I expected items that unique to be much more pricey.

From babies to 6/6X, The Funky Zebras can completely outfit your little doll! It was so much fun for Sarah and I to shop with our girls and be fancy! They loved the clothes, the staff, and the whole experience.
