One year ago today, DMMB’s very first blog post was published! That post was only the beginning of something amazing!
This past year has gone so fast and been so much fun. We never imagined that at one year in, there would be so many people connecting both online and off. Over 1,700 Facebook fans? More than 60 people joining us at monthly play dates? Two huge community events with over 150 guests each? Over 200 businesses reaching a prime target market of moms? We’re growing daily and that is all thanks to you!

A Year In Review
We’ve shared resources, highlighted local events and businesses, and become a primary place for moms to connect online and off. We’ve enriched our current relationships and created new ones. We’ve shared information, laughs, tears, struggles, and joys. DMMB is a refuge for weary mamas and a place to celebrate our big and small victories. New moms have realized they aren’t alone. Seasoned moms have shared their journeys. New families in town have learned about new places to go in this awesome city we call home – all because of DMMB.

When/Where:
Thursday, November 7th in Ankeny
6 p.m. – 7 p.m. Pre-Party at Waterfront Seafood Market (2414 SE Tones Drive, Ankeny). We’ll have drinks and appetizers and get a chance to connect with other mamas! $15 at the door gets you appetizers and 2 drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic available). At 7 p.m., we’ll head over to the Birthday Bash at Brown’s.
7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Birthday Bash at Brown’s Shoe Fit Co. (2732 SE Delaware Ave, Suite 240). We’ll shop, eat cake, and meet new friends!
Join us at 6:00 and have the whole night out or join us whenever you can.
