Last week Des Moines moms and their families descended on Costco for the second annual #costcomomhour. Costco opened an hour early to give moms an extra hour of shopping.
We appreciate everyone who braved the long lines. With close to 800 people registered for the event, the line to get into the store was long and we know things moved slowly. We appreciate your feedback. We will use the comments you provided about your experience to make future events run more smoothly.
Costco provided a complimentary breakfast for shoppers as well as plenty of tasty samples throughout the store.

The first 100 shoppers got a swag bag full of mom-approved Costco products. There was also a scavenger hunt through the store that qualified shoppers to win a raffle that included 2 $100 gift cards and a year’s supply of Tide detergent. Our West Des Moines Costco also donated a Christmas wreath for our social media raffle!
