April is a month that brings rain showers and sunny days. Lucky for you, there are plenty of family friendly events and activities happening around Des Moines—both inside and outside—to keep you busy all month long. Don’t miss: the first annual Coffee and Donut Festival, lots of Easter egg hunts, and the return of the Iowa Cubs!

Learn to use a GPS and go search the woods to find the Lorax and his treasures.

Nancy believes more is ALWAYS better when it comes to being fancy. She loves her frilly bedroom, her lace-trimmed socks, and will take any chance she gets to show-off her fancy French!

A free event for expecting moms with a variety of educational sessions, knowledgeable vendors, interactive exhibits and great giveaways!
